Burdeaux is a singer, songwriter, and storyteller whose musical journey traces back to her childhood home in Philadelphia ,where the sound of Aretha Franklin , the Jackson 5, and her mother’s singing filled the air. Though she began as a poet— scribbling verses in classrooms and college halls— her writing eventually evolved into songwriting, driven by a deep emotional current and and a longing to transform her words into music. Across - country moving to Seattle for a coffee job led her to closer to her dreams, and a chance encounter at a bar inspired her to finally make the leap to Oakland.. There, she fully immersed herself in the Bay Area’s creative community, funding her first EP and music videos through barista work and quickly establishing herself as an emerging voice in the local scene. Her powerful presence landed her a main stage performance at Oakland Pride in 2022, and her commitment to music has only deepened ever since.
